Brief description of the project

The objective of Project Oscar is to transfer the modular system of electric vehicles (“Concept Zeitgeist”), developed by StreetScooter GmbH, to the information and communication technology (ICT)- architecture in addition to the electric and electronic (ICTEE)- architecture. The redesign of the ICTEE-architecture – necessary due to the specific requirements of electric vehicles ( such as short range and frequent charging) – opens up the possibility of a new architectural design. To meet these new requirements and support all interfaces, vehicle-wise and in terms of custom design, a new concept of ICT in electric vehicles will be developed.
